FIXIT’s service network covers almost the whole of Europe – the company operates service centers in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary. Its team consists of over 130 specialists who handle more than 450,000 devices every year. Through these activities, FIXIT supports the circular economy and offsets over 5,500 tonnes of CO₂e emissions annually. With more than 20 years of experience, FIXIT is a dynamically developing company with deep knowledge of the market realities.
For over 10 years we have had the pleasure of working with FIXIT as a supplier of professional workbenches. During this time, we have completed many joint projects and delivered more than 120 workstations in various configurations, continuously developing new solutions.
Needs and expectations
Workshop benches are a key element of equipment in every service center. They serve not only as the technicians’ main workplace, but also as a space for organizing tools, documentation and computer equipment. Their quality and functionality have a direct impact on work efficiency.
FIXIT approached us with the need to equip its service centers with modern workstations tailored to their processes. The main project requirements included:

Due to the specific nature of FIXIT’s activities, it was necessary to design solutions that go beyond a standard catalogue offer.
Individual approach – the foundation of successful cooperation
From the very first contact with the FIXIT team, we focused on an individual approach. We thoroughly analyzed the client’s needs and proposed appropriate technical solutions. After the initial consultations, we moved on to designing the benches, taking into account all arrangements and the specific working conditions in the service centers.
For us, a key stage is gaining a precise understanding of the client’s processes. Only then can we design a truly “tailor‑made” product – just like a tailor making a bespoke suit.
FIXIT appreciated the comprehensive support – from design, through production and logistics, to final installation on site. This allows us to eliminate intermediaries and maintain full control over deadlines, quality and day‑to‑day communication. In turn, we can respond flexibly to changes and ensure full transparency of the project.
The positive experience from the first project translated into further orders and long‑term cooperation, which has continued uninterrupted for a decade.
Project challenges
The workstations for FIXIT had to withstand intensive, everyday use. We therefore applied robust constructions with additional reinforcements: thick worktops made of abrasion‑resistant melamine board, perforated panels made of 2 mm steel sheet, extra braces for structural rigidity, industrial lighting and other high‑quality components.
A major challenge was to ensure the right dimensions of the benches – both the worktop and the entire structure – so that they would fit various spaces and allow for the repair of devices of different sizes.
Key requirements also included:

convenient tool‑storage systems,

the possibility to mount computer equipment (PC, monitor, keyboard, mouse),

maintaining order at the workstation, which directly influences speed and quality of work.
Depending on the service center location and the type of tasks performed, the benches differed in equipment. Among the most frequently chosen options were:

upper shelves with adjustable height,
-
large perforated panels with tool holders,
-
monitor mounts with a keyboard shelf, allowing the entire worktop to be used as a working surface.

Our workbenches have become an integral part of FIXIT service centers in Poland and across Europe. The company has gained durable, functional workstations, and we have gained a trusted business partner.
