Heavy-duty construction, load capacity up to 1,000 kg and specialist worktops
In an industrial environment, equipment must withstand the test of time and intensive use. The construction of our workbenches allows the workstation to be safely loaded from 500 kg up to 1,000 kg and more in the heaviest series of reinforced metalworking benches. The table structure gains greater strength and rigidity through the use of thicker steel profiles, additional bracing and reinforcement plates. Workshop tables should be fitted with durable worktops that are resistant to mechanical damage. We select worktops according to the specific technological processes used at your facility:
- Plywood worktops: characterised by exceptional hardness and impact resistance, making them a standard choice for metalworking, heavy assembly work and vice installation.
- Worktops covered with stainless steel sheet: resistant to direct contact with oils, greases, solvents and coolants; the steel sheet provides additional protection and extends the service life of the worktop.
- Worktops finished with 3 mm ribbed rubber: absorb impacts, protect components and provide enhanced resistance to grease and oil.
- Worktops made of durable 25 mm melamine-faced board: intended for lighter service, inspection and packing tasks.

For multi-shift workstations, we offer height-adjustable workbenches, including electric workbenches with specially designed JABAMA actuators, enabling a quick and smooth change of the worktop position from sitting to standing. Depending on the variant, they offer a load capacity from 300 to 800 kg (sets with four lifting columns).

As a manufacturer with our own design department, we also fulfil non-standard orders. What are workbenches and where are they used?
These are workstations for manual tasks in workshops, including automotive workshops, service departments, metalworking shops and production halls. They are an essential part of the equipment in every workshop. Workbenches are used wherever manufacturing processes, material processing, repairs and maintenance work take place. They offer greater durability than standard workstations and are designed for more demanding conditions.
What makes JABAMA heavy-duty workbenches different?
Our workshop furniture is designed for demanding industrial environments. Can bench vices be mounted on JABAMA workbenches?
Yes. Metalworking benches and workshop furniture fitted with solid wood or beech plywood worktops are suitable for vice installation. The rigid frame effectively dampens vibrations and prevents the worktop from bending during mechanical processing.
What solutions do you offer for maintenance departments?
For maintenance departments, we recommend heavy-duty workbenches equipped with spacious tool drawer modules, perforated panels with sets of hooks and holders, as well as worktops covered with sheet metal or oil-resistant rubber. Mobile versions on lockable castors are also frequently selected. JABAMA offers an extensive range of mobile workbenches with high load capacities.
Do you offer height-adjustable workbenches?
Yes, we offer models with manual screw adjustment as well as professional workbenches with smooth electric adjustment based on proprietary JABAMA actuators. This makes it easier to adapt the workstation for sit-stand work. Electric adjustment also makes it easier to place heavy components onto the worktop.
What are the standard dimensions and height of JABAMA workbenches?
The standard worktop dimensions are 1500x900 mm and 2000x900 mm. Our worktops offer a large surface area that allows comfortable work with large components. The standard table height is 800 mm.
